Summer Camp

What is Oak Hill Christian Service Camp all about?   Oak Hill seeks to provide a spiritual refuge, a place for students to come, free from the distractions of this world, and connect with God on a deeper and more personal level.   We believe the Holy Spirit may choose to work anywhere He desires but we have seen the fruit of His presence during these camp weeks that strive to develop and strengthen the faith of our campers and staff! Every aspect of the camp programming is centered around creating an atmosphere where students worship through praise, devotions, service and FUN!  Whether swimming in the pool, painting a bench, playing extreme kickball (sorry for the mess!) or boldly proclaiming, "You are Way maker, Miracle worker, My God... that is who You are", we want each moment of the camp experience to be glorifying to our AWESOME GOD and encouraging to our beloved campers.

Oak Hill is an amazing place because it serves an AMAZING GOD!  The hundreds of volunteers that pour their time, resources, and hearts into this ministry recognize that without this camp, many children would miss out on the unique opportunity to experience God and His love while surrounded by the beautiful woods of Oak Hill.   We are so excited to say welcome to our new first time campers and welcome home to our seasoned campers and staff.

First Chance

A first look for the littlest campers. This camp is for grades K through 2nd grade. The camp session is either a one night, two-day camp or a two night, three-day camp.

Games, crafts, campfire, worship, lessons and LOTS AND LOTS of fun – First Chance Camp is a great introduction to camp and a lifetime of memories!

Junior

For the upper elementary students (3rd-5th grade), get ready for a full week of camp! The camp session runs from Sunday evening until Friday early afternoon.

While each week has a unique feel with plenty of games, worship, challenging lessons, and service projects, be on the lookout for mud pits and obstacle courses in Beast Mode.

Middle School

Rising 6th thru 8th graders, this is a week to remember. Middle School weeks run from Sunday evening until Friday early afternoon.

From worship to games, lessons to group time, and everything in between, Middle School week gives you the opportunity to grow closer to Jesus and each other.

High School

High school week is for rising 9th thru 12th graders. This week of camp runs from Sunday evening until Friday morning.

A highlight for the high school students, this week is a dynamic experience that will challenge each student with thought-provoking teaching, worship experiences, and adventures.

Current High School Seniors are welcome to attend and are celebrated during High School week the summer they graduate.

JC Training

JC Training is for teens entering 9th grade in the fall of 2024 up to 18 years of age. This Friday/Saturday training equips teens to help guide our campers, take care of the camp facility and provide some spiritual reinforcement. JC Training is required for any teen wanting to volunteer at camp. Training does not commit you to volunteer. It just allows you to be eligible to volunteer for a session of camp.

JCs can reach out to the Deans to request to volunteer at a session of camp. The Deans will confirm if a spot is open to serve at their session.
